Mercator expands its senior management team

Kyan Frith has been appointed an associate director at Mercator Trust Company Limited.

After five years with the firm working as a senior manager, Mr Frith has been appointed to head up the group's finance, operations and IT facilities as well as Mercator's other support functions.

Originally from Cornwall where he began his accountancy career, Mr Frith moved to the island in 1999 to take up a trust accountant's role at Julius Baer before moving to work for the States of Guernsey in 2001. Here he held a number of roles within the Advisory and Finance Committee, Board of Administration and Public Services Departments respectively. It was during this time he also qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.

In 2007 Mr Frith joined Mercator as a senior manager where he took a lead role in the firm’s first IT migration project and worked to ensure the company delivered a better, more efficient client service.

In 2008 he become a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and completed his IOD Diploma in Company Direction in 2009.
